Tim Walters, Chief of Data Science for BiltData.ai, has over 40 years of marketing, analytics, finance, planning, and operations experience. Tim has assisted a wide array of businesses with marketing strategy development, analytics, data science, marketing research, competitive intelligence, data mining, customer relationship management, financial planning, pricing, logistics, data warehousing, and decision support systems.
Tim has successfully worked with diverse C-level individuals worldwide. Recent examples of
client successes include:
- $50 million first-year revenue increase for a construction equipment company by cloning their top 20% of customers revealed through Total Customer Analytics.
- Strategic analysis led ~$1 billion company to switch business models from franchising to company-owned locations and eventually resulted in the successful sale to a top tier private equity firm in a multi billion dollar transaction.
- Customer/transaction analysis, coupled with primary research, resulted in a retailer foregoing an acquisition as the acquisition candidate had a poor market reputation.
Tim has served as an adjunct professor of technology management and marketing at the University of Denver. His marketing strategy paper received a best-in-industry award. Additionally, Tim has presented at numerous conferences and has been quoted in various publications.
Tim obtained an MBA in Strategic Planning and Decision Sciences from the prestigious Wharton School, where his accomplishments led to admission to the leading honor fraternity. He graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Missouri.
