BiltData.ai, LLC ("BiltData," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") is a business-to-business ("B2B") predictive buyer intelligence company. We provide hosted analytics platforms and mobile applications that help businesses in the equipment and industrial sectors identify market opportunities, understand buyer behavior, and make data-driven decisions. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our services, products, website (biltdata.ai), and related platforms (collectively, the "Services").

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect or process in connection with our Services, our website, our business intelligence platform, and our mobile application. Our Services are designed for business use and primarily involve B2B data, including macro-economic and micro-economic market intel, relationships between entities, business contact information, firmographic data, and commercial transaction intelligence related to the equipment industry.

This policy does not apply to information collected by third parties or websites linked from our Services.

1A. Data broker registration

BiltData Intelligence Services, LLC ("BDIS"), a subsidiary of BiltData.ai, LLC, is registered as a data broker in California (under the California Delete Act, SB 362), Nevada (NRS 603A.340), and Oregon (ORS 646A.571). BDIS holds these registrations on behalf of the BiltData family of companies. This registration reflects our commitment to transparency regarding our B2B data practices, even though our services are designed for business-to-business use.

2. Information we collect

Information we collect directly from you

When you interact with us as a client, prospective client, or website visitor, we may collect:

  • Business contact information: name, business email, business phone number, job title, and company name
  • Account information: login credentials and user preferences for our platform
  • Communications: correspondence you send to us, including inquiries and support requests
  • Usage data: how you interact with our platform, dashboards, and mobile application (e.g., pages viewed, features used, session duration)

Information we obtain from third-party sources

In the course of providing our B2B data and analytics services, we obtain business-related information from a broad range of third-party data providers, public records, government sources, and industry associations and publications. This information is used to build our proprietary datasets (including BiltReady Opportunities) and to deliver predictive buyer intelligence to our clients. Categories of third-party data include:

  • Firmographic and business data: business name, address, industry classification, reputation velocity, capacity, employee count, revenue range, and other company attributes sourced from licensed third-party data providers. BiltData selects its data partners based on their reputation, data quality, and regulatory standing. Our primary data providers are established firms that maintain registrations under applicable data broker laws (including California's Delete Act), comply with the CCPA/CPRA, and where applicable operate under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and related federal and state regulatory frameworks.
  • Business contact data: names, titles, business email addresses, and business phone numbers of individuals in their professional capacity
  • Public records data: Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) filings sourced from state filing offices; business registrations and corporate filings from Secretaries of State offices across multiple jurisdictions (which may include, but are not limited to, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and other states); and other publicly available commercial records
  • Government and economic data: data from federal and state government agencies which may include, but are not limited to, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis, U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Commerce, Federal Highway Administration, and other agencies, used to support econometric modeling, regional market analysis, and macroeconomic trend indicators
  • Industry sources and publications: information from industry associations, trade publications (which may include, but are not limited to, Engineering News-Record and other construction and equipment industry periodicals), construction project databases, and other publicly available industry data used to contextualize market conditions, construction activity, and equipment demand trends
  • Equipment and market data: information related to equipment ownership, fleet composition, equipment valuation benchmarks, rental activity, construction project pipelines, and product support indicators derived from public and licensed sources, including equipment valuation and market analytics providers, construction project intelligence providers, property and risk analytics providers, and other industry-specific data partners

Activity-based, platform data

Our platform enables authorized users to input content which enhances the platform's intelligence for the contributing client's authorized users and is treated as confidential to that client. BiltData may use anonymized and aggregated patterns from user-contributed data to improve its predictive models and platform functionality, but does not share identifiable user-contributed content across clients.

Proprietary derived and modeled data

In addition to the data we obtain from external sources, BiltData generates substantial proprietary intelligence through advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics applied to underlying source data. This derived data is the product of BiltData's proprietary algorithms, scoring models, and analytical processes. These derived metrics represent BiltData's proprietary intellectual property and analytical work product. They are not sourced directly from any single data provider.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information, or precise geolocation of individuals.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect for the following business purposes:

  • Providing our Services: delivering B2B data analytics, buyer intelligence, sales analytics dashboards, and mobile application functionality to our clients
  • Data enrichment and predictive modeling: combining data from multiple sources and applying proprietary statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics to create and maintain our proprietary datasets, including BiltReady Opportunities, fleet valuations, credit quality scores, and buyer propensity indicators
  • Client support: responding to inquiries, providing technical support, and managing client accounts
  • Service improvement: analyzing usage patterns to improve and develop our platform, tools, and data products
  • Compliance and security: protecting against fraud, enforcing our terms of service, and complying with legal obligations
  • Communications: sending service-related communications, updates, and (with consent where required) marketing communications

4. How we share information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Through our hosted platform: We make B2B data and analytics accessible to our clients through our hosted platform and mobile application. Our platform provides company-level predictive intelligence that clients may access, analyze, and utilize without restriction for their internal business purposes. Individual contact information is accessible on-demand through the platform but is not included in bulk data exports.
  • With service providers: We share information with third-party vendors who assist us in operating our business (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics tools, customer support). These providers are contractually obligated to use information only as directed by us.
  • Third-party integrations: Our platform may integrate optional third-party services (such as contact lookup providers) that operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Use of these integrations is initiated by the user.
  • For legal purposes: We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, privacy, safety, or property of BiltData, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as a business asset.

BiltData Intelligence Services, LLC ("BDIS"), a subsidiary of BiltData.ai, LLC, is registered as a data broker in California (under the California Delete Act, SB 362), Nevada (NRS 603A.340), and Oregon (ORS 646A.571). BDIS holds data broker registrations, data licensing agreements, and manages consumer privacy compliance operations on behalf of the BiltData family of companies. The parent company, BiltData.ai, LLC, retains all platform intellectual property and client SaaS agreements. Our platform delivers predictive buyer intelligence as a SaaS service; company-level intelligence is available to clients without restriction for their internal business purposes, and individual contact information is accessible on-demand through the platform but is not included in bulk data exports. BiltData complies with all applicable data broker registration and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction where it operates.

5. Your privacy rights

Rights under California law (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

  • Right to Know: You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing: You may opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. See Section 7 below.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA for purposes that would require offering this right.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Rights under other state privacy laws

Residents of other states with applicable privacy laws (including Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) may have similar rights, including the right to access, delete, and correct personal information, and the right to opt out of certain processing activities. We honor these rights as required by applicable law.

We will verify your identity before processing your request. We aim to respond to all verified requests within 45 days, as required by applicable law. If we need additional time, we will notify you.

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When determining retention periods, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for processing, and applicable legal requirements.

Upon request by a client, we will return or securely destroy client data in accordance with our contractual obligations.

7. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

BiltData operates as a SaaS predictive intelligence platform serving B2B clients. We provide company-level predictive intelligence to clients for their unrestricted use; individual contact information is not included in bulk data exports. To the extent that any of our activities constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under applicable law, you have the right to opt out.

  • Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We honor the GPC signal as a valid opt-out request.

We also honor opt-out requests passed through from our data sources and will suppress records of individuals who have exercised opt-out or deletion rights with our third-party data providers.

BiltData processes opt-out and deletion requests received through the California Delete Act's consumer deletion mechanism (DROP) within 45 days. We maintain a Master Suppression List to ensure opted-out individuals are not re-added from any data source. See our Do Not Sell or Share page.

9. Data security

We implement and maintain commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's privacy

Our Services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
